At Rocky Mountain Guitar Studio, students follow a clear, graded path—not a random playlist of songs. Every piece builds on established skills and introduces a meaningful next step.
Young children learn through Suzuki Guitar, while tweens, teens, and adults follow a contemporary curriculum shaped by the music they love. Lessons are personalized, but progress is intentional.
We develop strong rhythm, expressive playing, and the confidence to perform complete songs. The goal is musical independence—students who don't just learn what to play, but understand how to keep growing.
A CLEAR PATH FOR LEARNING GUITAR
Students follow a structured 9 level curriculum that builds skills in a logical order while still using music they enjoy. Technique, rhythm, chords, fretboard knowledge, theory, improvisation and complete songs develop together — not as disconnected weekly topics.
Children follow the Suzuki Guitar method. Tween, teen, and adult students follow the Rocky Mountain Guitar Studio contemporary guitar curriculum.
